Most jobs ask for experience. This one helps you build it.
Our apprenticeship pathway is for motivated people who want to enter roofing and exterior construction but have not had the chance to build industry experience yet.
You can arrive as a student, recent graduate, career changer or first-time trade applicant. We focus on how you show up: willingness to learn, reliability, safety, effort and the ability to take instruction. We teach the LCKD way from the beginning so you understand not only what to do, but why each step matters.

We are not looking for years of experience.
We are looking for people we can teach. If you are reliable, coachable, willing to work hard and serious about learning a trade, you can apply even if roofing is completely new to you.

Common questions
Starting from zero?
Do I need any roofing experience?
No. This pathway is specifically for people who want to learn. General construction experience can help, but it is not required to apply.
Will LCKD teach me?
Yes. The pathway is designed around instruction, supervised learning, safety standards and hands-on exposure alongside experienced team members.
Is this only for students?
No. Students, recent graduates, first-job applicants and career changers are all welcome to apply.
Can this lead to a full-time job?
That is the pathway we want to create. Strong performance and mutual fit can lead toward broader responsibilities and future employment opportunities when positions are available.
What will I be doing?
Early stages focus on safety, setup, material handling, observation and fundamentals. Responsibility increases as you learn and demonstrate consistency.
Do I need Working at Heights before I apply?
You can still apply if you do not already have every certification. The application asks what you currently have so we can understand your starting point and what may be required before specific site duties.
