IF THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE ROOF + EAVESTROUGH SYSTEM / KEEP THEM OFF IT

THE LIGHTS ARE DECORATION.
THE HOUSE IS THE INVESTMENT.

A clean light line sits beside roofing, eavestroughs, fascia, soffit, drip edge and outdoor power. That is exactly why attachment and wire routing should be planned like exterior work—not improvised like decoration.

01 / ATTACHMENT

CLIPS, NOT PUNCTURES.

Ontario ESA holiday-safety guidance says to use proper clips for lights and decorations and never staples or nails because they can damage electrical cords. Our attachment plan also avoids casually puncturing finished exterior components.

ONTARIO ESA ↗
02 / DRAINAGE

DON’T TURN THE EAVESTROUGH INTO A RANDOM MOUNTING RAIL.

Water still needs to move. We plan clips, service access and wire paths so the lighting layout does not obstruct outlets, cleaning access or the intended drainage path.

03 / ROOF EDGE

THE PRETTY LINE IS NOT WORTH A ROOF PROBLEM.

Shingle edges, flashing, drip edge, finished metal and soffit details are building components first. The lighting layout is adapted to the house—not the other way around.

04 / OUTDOOR POWER

ONTARIO WINTER + ELECTRICITY = ZERO ROOM FOR “GOOD ENOUGH.”

ESA advises outdoor-rated lights and cords, GFCI protection, weatherproof outlet covers, dry/elevated cords and safe clearances from powerlines. If permanent electrical work is required, it should be handled by a Licensed Electrical Contractor.

ROOFINGWE KNOW WHAT IS UNDER THE LIGHT LINE.

Shingles, flashing, roof edges, soffit and penetrations are already part of our daily exterior work.

EAVESTROUGHSWE KNOW WHERE WATER HAS TO GO.

Light placement should respect slope, outlets, downspouts, cleaning access and finished metal.

OUTDOOR POWERWE PLAN FOR AN ONTARIO WINTER.

Outdoor-rated components, GFCI-protected outlets, weather exposure and cord routing all matter.

3 mPOWERLINE CLEARANCE

ESA says stay at least 3 metres from overhead powerlines when using ladders or decorating trees.

CLIPSNOT STAPLES OR NAILS

ESA specifically recommends proper clips because staples and nails can damage electrical cords.

GFCIOUTDOOR PROTECTION

ESA recommends GFCI-protected outdoor outlets and weatherproof covers for outdoor setups.

WHEN A WHOLE AREA CALLS AT ONCE / CAPACITY BECOMES REAL

GET ON THE LIST
BEFORE THE STORM.

Severe weather can create hundreds or thousands of property problems at the same time, and no roofing or exterior company has unlimited crews. Qualifying LOCKED customers are automatically placed on the Priority Repair Call List before that surge happens. Your address, contact record, known exterior history and prior LOCKED work are already connected to the customer file, so intake does not start from zero when phones are overloaded. This is one of the core benefits of the complimentary LOCKED Home Protection Plan.

PRIORITY LISTYOUR PROPERTY IS ALREADY A KNOWN LOCKED PROPERTY.

The list exists so established customers are already identified when demand spikes. Instead of introducing the property for the first time after damage, your file enters the customer-priority intake path with known contact and property information. Priority status is a real intake advantage, but it is not a guarantee of immediate dispatch; life-safety severity, weather, road access, crew capacity and safe working conditions still control scheduling.
