Terms & Conditions
Effective date: October 30, 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the general rules for using lckd.ca and for communicating with LCKD Roofing & Exteriors (“LCKD,” “we,” “us”). Specific accepted customer contracts, warranty certificates, official contest rules and other applicable policies contain additional terms. Mandatory rights under Ontario and Canadian law continue to apply.
1. Our business and contact information
LCKD Roofing & Exteriors provides roofing, exterior, insulation, lighting, structural and related contractor services in Ontario, subject to availability, site conditions and the particular scope LCKD agrees to undertake. Contact us at info@lckd.ca, toll-free 1-855-525-3065, or our registered address, 1266 Kilworthy Rd, Ontario, Canada. Our public-facing name is LCKD Roofing & Exteriors. The responsible legal entity is identified on signed commercial documents as legally required. Contractor Workforce is a separate business and is not a party to these website terms.
2. Website use
You may use this website to learn about LCKD services, request an estimate, communicate with LCKD and review publicly available programs. Do not attempt to access secured systems, misuse the site, submit malicious files, impersonate others, interfere with our operation or automate fraudulent quote, contest or referral activity. We may restrict misuse and maintain or change the website without guaranteeing uninterrupted access.
3. Estimates, roof measurements and online tools
Photographs, satellite or solar imagery, property data, aerial drawings, roof measurements, automated takeoffs, AI-generated descriptions, savings examples and other website tools are informational estimates only, unless expressly adopted in a signed project contract. Hidden damage, structural conditions, site access, actual material requirements, roof pitch and other conditions can alter pricing or scope. Visual simulations, 3D models, maps and photographs may not show exact final results.
References to emergency repairs, round-the-clock contact availability or service-area coverage are not unconditional guarantees of a particular response time or acceptance of work. For immediate life-safety emergencies, use the relevant emergency service.
4. Project quotes and written agreements
Sending a website form or asking for an estimate does not, by itself, form a construction contract. The accepted LCKD quote, written scope, lawful change orders and associated contract documents govern a job. Pricing, scheduling, payment stages, applicable deposit requirements, warranties, cancellation rights, and material specifications must be confirmed in the written agreement. Where a specific signed agreement and these general website terms differ, the specific agreement governs that work except where law requires otherwise. See Roofing & Warranties.
5. Deposits and payments
A deposit is not routinely required for standard jobs. LCKD may require a deposit for custom or specialty work, or certain larger jobs exceeding $20,000, only when determined on a project-specific basis and clearly stated in the written agreement. Statutory consumer cancellation, construction holdback and other mandatory payment rights are not waived by these terms. Where law applies, late fees, collection costs and lien rights are subject to applicable requirements and the customer agreement.
6. Site responsibilities and unforeseen conditions
Customers should provide reasonable site access, advise LCKD of known hazards and relevant property conditions, and protect fragile items as instructed. Roofing and exterior work can involve dust, vibration, noise, temporary access limitations and ordinary construction debris. LCKD will use reasonable worksite care; specific protections and site-restoration obligations are governed by the agreement. Concealed damage, unsafe structures, hazardous materials or code-related issues may require a documented change in scope and price. LCKD will not treat an unauthorized material change as automatically approved.
7. Warranties and statutory rights
LCKD’s quoted roofing tiers presently describe 20-year material-and-labour coverage for Good and Better and 30-year material-and-labour coverage for Best. Formal scope, exclusions, commencement, claims procedures and the one-time transfer conditions will be set out in a separate LCKD warranty certificate issued for eligible projects. A promise on this page does not replace the certificate or any non-excludable rights. See Roofing & Warranties.
8. SMS and telephone program terms
LCKD intends to operate optional text-messaging programs through its toll-free number for customer service, project updates and, where separately authorized, marketing and promotional messages. Marketing SMS is optional and is not a condition of obtaining a quote, receiving a service or entering a contest. When a person explicitly enrolls in an applicable SMS program, they may receive recurring messages of the category consented to. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of a messaging program or HELP for assistance. You may also contact info@lckd.ca or 1-855-525-3065. Opting out of marketing does not cancel a signed customer contract; legally necessary communications may continue through appropriate channels. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Automated messaging is subject to carrier, network and service availability.
Enrolment and promotional messaging will begin only when applicable verification, consent records and technical controls are in place. For details about AI call intake, recording and SMS consent, see SMS, Calls & AI and our Privacy Policy.
9. Promotional contests, yard signs and donations
Quarterly prize draws, referral rewards and donations operate under their own published conditions. The planned quarterly contest is not active until launch dates, the actual prize and complete no-purchase rules are announced. A roof sale does not independently entitle someone to an active draw when no contest is open. A QR-code scan alone does not earn a referral reward. LCKD’s charitable giving is a business-funded contribution, not an added customer fee. Review Prize Draws, Lawn Signs & Referrals and SickKids Donations.
10. Privacy and user submissions
If you submit contact details, photographs, a property address, text, reviews or other information, you confirm you have the right to provide it. LCKD uses that information for the requested business purpose and related lawful operations under its Privacy Policy. Submitting an image or testimonial does not automatically authorize public advertising with your photograph or name; LCKD will seek appropriate separate permission for such uses.
11. Intellectual property and third-party systems
The LCKD name, logos, slogans, website writing, owned photographs, design and proprietary quote or measurement tools may not be republished or commercially exploited without appropriate authorization. Mapping, aerial imagery, payment, financing, communications and other third-party services may have their own terms. LCKD does not claim ownership of third-party imagery and does not guarantee the independent availability of those services.
12. Liability and applicable law
To the extent permitted by law, LCKD does not guarantee error-free website content or uninterrupted operation, and is not responsible for losses arising solely from unauthorized site use or independent third-party failures beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Ontario consumer-protection, construction, privacy and other statutory rights. Ontario and Canadian law govern as applicable.
13. Questions and updates
For a copy of the currently applicable terms, a concern or a correction request, contact info@lckd.ca. Changes to these general website terms apply prospectively; they do not retroactively change a signed customer contract or official rules of an already-open contest.
