LCKD Roofing & Exteriors plans to support SickKids Foundation in Toronto through a company-funded contribution associated with eligible roofing work. This is a charitable-giving commitment by LCKD, not an extra customer charge or a donation collected from customers.

1. Amount and eligible work

LCKD intends to contribute $20 from company funds for every qualifying completed full roof replacement or new full roof installation. Minor repairs and non-roofing services are excluded. The commitment applies per qualifying completed roofing project, rather than per website estimate, inquiry or separate roof component.

2. Donation made by LCKD

These contributions are made on behalf of LCKD Roofing & Exteriors from the company’s funds. They are not described as gifts made personally by a customer and should not appear on customer invoices as an added compulsory donation charge. Any charitable receipt, if issued, would be administered according to the charity’s rules and applicable tax requirements. Purchasing a new roof does not entitle the customer to a personal charitable tax receipt for LCKD’s contribution.

3. Quarterly contribution cycle

LCKD intends to record qualifying completed roofing projects, calculate $20 for each one and remit the total to the foundation on a quarterly basis. A public statement that a specific donation has already been paid should be made only after the remittance actually occurs. The start date and first remittance period will be established when the program is activated and the foundation relationship is confirmed.

4. Independent giving and branding permission

LCKD has inquired about establishing a fundraising arrangement with SickKids Foundation. Until the foundation expressly authorizes particular marks or partnership language, this program should be described factually as LCKD’s planned independent support and not as an official endorsement, sponsorship or formal partnership. Official SickKids logos, badges or campaign materials will be displayed only after any required approval is obtained.

5. Separate from giveaways and referrals

SickKids contributions are separate from the LCKD quarterly promotional prize fund and from the $30 lawn-sign referral rewards. Customers do not purchase prize entries with charitable donations, and giving does not improve contest odds. LCKD reserves the ability to change future giving commitments with accurate notice, without mischaracterizing past contributions.
