SMS, Calls & AI
Effective date: October 30, 2026
This policy explains the planned and active communications channels of LCKD Roofing & Exteriors, including toll-free calling, SMS, AI-assisted reception, recordings and transcriptions. It supplements the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. LCKD contact details and purpose
Our toll-free number is 1-855-525-3065. Email: info@lckd.ca. LCKD plans to use this number for incoming customer calls, outgoing service communications and optional promotional text messages. Promotional SMS functionality remains subject to provider verification and compliance controls before activation.
2. AI-assisted incoming calls
Incoming calls are intended to be answered first using AI-assisted voice reception through LCKD’s telephone infrastructure. Its role is to answer promptly, gather relevant information about the inquiry and route it to an appropriate human member of the team. The telephone infrastructure is based on Twilio; LCKD’s selected primary AI voice intake provider is Bland AI. Other audio or voice technology may be used when introduced and disclosed.
An AI assistant may make mistakes and is not authorized to guarantee a quote, approve project changes, accept legal notices requiring a special process, promise emergency arrival, give engineering conclusions or bind LCKD to an unapproved contract. Callers can request a human representative. Where a person is unavailable, the system may take a message or offer another contact method.
3. Recordings, transcription and internal training
LCKD intends to record, transcribe and securely retain calls when required for customer service, quality assurance, evidence, staff support and development of internal AI-assisted workflows. The caller should be clearly informed at or before the start of recording. When required, consent must be obtained before recording or training use. Calls and related transcripts may be reviewed by authorized personnel and appropriate service providers subject to privacy safeguards. We should minimize personally identifying content used for training and avoid unrelated third-party model training without appropriate consent or legal authority.
Where recording is not suitable, callers may request a human representative or contact us by email. Information may be retained only as long as necessary under our Privacy Policy; long-term storage is not unlimited.
4. Customer-service and operational texts
Where an appropriate lawful basis or express consent exists, LCKD may text customers about estimates they requested, appointments, weather or scheduling changes, materials, crews, work progress, inspections, completion and warranty administration. Providing a telephone number for a basic inquiry does not automatically constitute enrollment in recurring promotional texts. Any separate service-notification enrollment must clearly explain the message types and remain voluntary where required by the applicable consent process.
5. Promotional and marketing texts
Marketing texts may include offers, neighbourhood bundle opportunities, seasonal services and announcements about available LCKD programs. These will be sent only after appropriate, separately obtained consent or another applicable legal authorization. A marketing SMS consent choice must not be preselected or combined with a required acceptance of a roofing quote, contact-form submission or contest entry. LCKD will retain evidence of consent and permit withdrawal.
6. Frequency, rates and opting out
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Contact info@lckd.ca or 1-855-525-3065 for support. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. A valid opt-out will be honoured for the affected messaging program; LCKD may use another appropriate channel for necessary information about an active contract.
7. Messaging privacy
SMS opt-in and consent records are not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing. Service providers used for technical delivery act on LCKD’s instructions. Review our Privacy Policy for the complete required messaging-data statement and information-handling rules.
8. Consent location on the website
Legal policies are not a substitute for notices placed beside contact forms. LCKD’s live forms and SMS enrollment flow should show the specific purpose, an unchecked optional checkbox for service texts (where enrollment is used), a separate unchecked optional checkbox for marketing texts, message frequency, message-and-data-rate notice, STOP/HELP instructions, and direct links to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. This plugin publishes those policies; it does not itself create SMS consent forms, capture consent, or activate Twilio messaging.
