Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LCKD Roofing & Exteriors collects, uses, discloses, protects and retains personal information in connection with its website, estimates, contracting, customer service, communications and promotional programs. LCKD is the organization responsible for this policy. Privacy questions and access or correction requests may be sent to info@lckd.ca, or by calling 1-855-525-3065.
1. Information we may collect
- Contact and customer information: names, telephone numbers, email addresses, mailing and service addresses, preferred communication methods and inquiry details.
- Project and property information: roof and exterior photographs, measurements, drawings, aerial or solar imagery, addresses, estimates, work orders, scheduling records, inspection notes, warranty records and payment status.
- Communications: emails, texts, messages, call metadata, voice recordings, transcripts, AI-assisted summaries, customer preferences and the history of service communications.
- Website and technical data: browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referral sources, form submissions, essential cookies and analytics data where enabled.
- Program information: verified referral activity, lawn-sign participation, eligible contest entries and winner verification records when a contest is active.
- Financial and administration records: invoicing, receipts, amounts paid and accounting information. Payment card details should be handled through authorized payment processors rather than ordinary contact forms.
2. Why LCKD uses information
We use information for the purposes disclosed or otherwise permitted by law: to answer inquiries; prepare and validate quotations; provide roof measurements and condition reports; organize materials, subcontractors and scheduling; complete customer projects; collect payment; handle inspections, complaints and warranties; operate referral programs; administer a published promotional contest; prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and maintain accurate business records.
Where appropriate consent and safeguards exist, LCKD may review or use call recordings, transcripts and de-identified or appropriately protected customer-service examples for quality assurance, staff training and improvement of LCKD’s own AI-assisted systems. Use of identifiable recordings for a materially different training purpose requires an appropriate legal basis, clear disclosure and, where required, additional consent. LCKD does not treat the fact that someone asked for a quote as consent to receive promotional SMS.
3. Consent and your choices
We seek meaningful consent where required and collect only the information reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes. When you submit a quote request, we may use the information to respond to that request. Optional marketing texts or emails require a separate, valid permission or other legal authorization; marketing permission is not required to receive a quote or service. Any website SMS enrollment checkbox must be optional and unchecked by default. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by using the available unsubscribe method or contacting LCKD.
4. Text messaging opt-in data
LCKD does not sell, rent, trade or disclose SMS opt-in lists or messaging consent to third parties for their own marketing. The following statement applies to the sharing categories described in this policy:
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Communications infrastructure providers acting solely under LCKD’s instructions may technically process messages to deliver the service, subject to appropriate service arrangements. They are not authorized to use LCKD messaging opt-in consent to market other businesses’ products.
5. Service providers and access
In the course of operating the business, LCKD may use contracted providers for hosting, CRM systems, telephone and messaging infrastructure such as Twilio, AI call-answering or voice services such as Bland AI, other voice or multilingual tools where activated, mapping and aerial imagery, technical security, payment processing, cloud storage, email delivery, scheduling and professional support. These services are used for specific business functions, not as permission to sell personal information.
Authorized office staff, contractors, inspectors and approved subcontractors may receive the minimum information reasonably needed to perform an assigned service. LCKD may also disclose information where the law requires or permits, in connection with disputes or safety, or with an individual’s valid direction. Information may be processed or stored outside Canada, where foreign laws may apply; safeguards and contractual controls are required as appropriate.
6. AI systems, recordings and transcripts
Incoming calls may first be answered by an AI-powered assistant to identify the service needed and route the caller to the appropriate human team member. Calls may be recorded, transcribed, summarized and stored for customer service, evidence, quality assurance, safety and training after appropriate disclosure. Callers may ask for a human representative or a reasonable alternative contact option. LCKD should not permit unrestricted vendor model training on identifiable customer conversations without a separate, properly evaluated legal basis.
7. Property images and quotes
Photos and measurements may reveal information about a home or occupants. LCKD uses them to prepare estimates, plan work, supervise projects and assess performance or warranty matters. Photos are not automatically published in advertising. Public case studies, identifiable testimonials and promotional reuse require appropriate authorization. Location and mapping providers may receive address or location data necessary to serve a requested feature.
8. Cookies and online analytics
The website may use essential cookies to run forms, security or WordPress functions. Additional analytics, advertising pixels or session-recording tools may be used only if and when activated and appropriately disclosed, with any required consent choices. The final inventory of live third-party tags has not yet been technically verified; LCKD will update this policy before enabling additional non-essential tracking that requires further disclosure or consent. Browser settings may restrict cookies, although some website features may stop working.
9. Security
LCKD uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of information, such as controlled access, individual credentials, secure communications and managed service-provider permissions. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you suspect improper access to your information, contact us promptly.
10. Retention and disposal
Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purposes, applicable warranty obligations, construction records, legitimate dispute handling, tax and accounting requirements, safety and legal compliance. Different categories have different schedules. Long-term project and warranty records may be retained for their applicable service and warranty periods; raw recordings and unnecessary identifiable training data should have shorter, separately documented schedules. Records are then securely destroyed or appropriately de-identified, subject to lawful preservation holds. LCKD does not claim a blanket right to retain everything indefinitely.
11. Access, correction and complaints
Subject to applicable exceptions, individuals may request access to their personal information, ask for correction of errors, inquire about use and disclosure, withdraw consent where permitted, or raise a privacy concern. Please contact info@lckd.ca and describe the request without sending highly sensitive records through ordinary email unless asked to use an appropriate secure method. We may verify identity before responding.
12. Policy changes
We may revise this policy when our practices, technology or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required. For messaging program details, see SMS, Calls & AI. For general website terms, see Terms & Conditions.
